Friday night the local baseball team (Fort Myers Miracles) hosted their 3rd anual putt putt tournament at Castle Golf. For $25 a person you could putt with one of the members of the team, drink plenty of beer provided in coolers every few holes, and potentially win some seriously cool prizes. There was an awards ceremony at the baseball stadium after where free food was also provided.
Not only was it tons of but we got 2nd place.... no biggie.
We played with this guy, the first baseman, Johnny Woodward. We're tight.
I will be doing some serious cheering for him at upcoming games.
Johnny didn't make it to the after party which I was really bummed about but I did get to run the field and sit in the dugout.
Oh, and the really sweet prizes we won for 2nd place are.... tiny trophies and $10 gift certificates to Rib City a.k.a. Rib Shitty!
